As a Sales and Marketing Associate, you'll be an integral part of our team, promoting our vision and contributing to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Relationship Building:
· Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve targets and drive revenue growth.
· Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with healthcare professionals, clinics, and medical institutions.
· Identify and prioritize new business opportunities by conducting market research and analyzing industry trends.
· Initiate strategic outreach to potential clients, presenting OneDrug's solutions as tailored to their needs.
· Align sales efforts with brand positioning and promotional activities.
Lead Generation and Outreach:
· Proactively identify and cultivate leads through various channels, including networking, referrals, and research.
· Create and manage a robust sales pipeline, tracking leads, prospects, and client interactions.
· Conduct compelling product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the unique value proposition of OneDrug's solutions.
· Respond promptly to client inquiries and requests, providing accurate information and addressing concerns.
Marketing Collaboration and Content Creation:
· Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns that enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
· Assist in the creation of impactful marketing materials, including presentations, brochures, case studies, and digital content.
· Support the coordination of industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote OneDrug's offerings.
· Contribute insights and feedback from client interactions to refine marketing messaging and strategies.
Client Support and Data Management:
· Provide exceptional customer service and ongoing support to existing and potential clients.
· Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities within CRM systems.
· Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in the sales process.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and post-sales support.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
· 2+ years of demonstrated experience in sales and marketing.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
· Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
· Comfortable with technology and the ability to understand and explain complex concepts.
· Knowledge of precision medicine and genetics (preferred but not mandatory).
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
Eligibility Requirements:
This role is funded, in part, by the Black Founders Network (BFN) Career Advancement Program supported by the Ministry of Citizenship & Multiculturalism and their Black Youth in Action Plan (BYAP) which works towards eliminating systemic, race-based disparities by increasing opportunities for Black youth across the province. Therefore, to be eligible for this role, applicants must self-identify as Black, be between 18 – 35years old, be based in Ontario, and participate in the Employment Readiness Workshops organized by BFN and their community partners (register here to receive updates on upcoming workshops).

Compensation:
The chosen candidate will be offered an attractive hourly compensation between $16 and $20, determined by their experience and qualifications.
