We're seeking a practical, business-minded in-house Lawyer who speaks fluent English and understands Polish law inside out. Key responsibilities:
- supporting the company’s business units in daily operations
- preparing, reviewing and negotiating contracts and other commercial documents in all aspects of the company’s business activity
- preparing and reviewing legal opinions, terms of service, corporate documents and other documents required for the company’s activity
- monitoring of legal regulations and compliance requirements applicable to the company’s business activity
- ensuring the consistency of contract terms with the company’s templates, policies and goals
- legal supervision over the company’s compliance with applicable laws, including data protection, Intellectual Property and corporate affairs
- legal supervision over the processes of implementing new products, services and business solutions
- cooperation with external legal advisors, including cooperation with foreign law firms concerning the company’s operations abroad
- cooperation with offices and state institutions operating at the state and supra-state levels
- representing the employer and related companies in court and in public administration bodies
You may be the perfect fit if you have:
- excellent written and spoken English skills (C1 or higher), ideally with hands-on experience using English in a legal or business context
- a Polish law degree and are a native Polish speaker
- 3–5 years of professional legal experience, including at least 1 year as an in-house counsel or working in the legal department of a business
- solid knowledge of contract law, marketing law, IT law, copyright, commercial and corporate law, and regulations around electronic service delivery
- experience reviewing implementation agreements, particularly in sales or marketing contexts
- an interest in technology and understanding of current tech trends (especially valuable in our IT-driven environment)
- the ability to work with incomplete information and make sound legal judgments when things aren’t black and white
Nice-to-have:
- title of Attorney-at-Law
- knowledge and experience with: SaaS
- experience in providing services for joint stock companies
- experience working in an international environment
- experience with real estate law
Salary range:
- Contract of employment: 6 500 - 10 500 PLN gross/month
- B2B contract: 346 - 612 PLN net/man-day
