Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Volunteer Engagement and Recruitment Coordinator. This role is pivotal in fostering a vibrant, engaged volunteer community within the FBC and its respective hubs. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for community-building, and experience in recruitment, engagement, and volunteer coordination.
Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Engagement:
- Lead the recruitment efforts to bring new members and volunteers into the FBC and respective hubs.
- Develop and implement strategies to engage volunteers actively, ensuring a continuous influx of fresh talent and enthusiasm.

Retention & Engagement:
- Design and execute strategies to retain and keep current volunteers active and engaged in the hub’s initiatives and activities.
- Monitor and assess volunteer satisfaction, identifying areas of improvement and ensuring ongoing volunteer commitment.

Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteers within the hub, ensuring clear, consistent, and timely communication regarding upcoming events, advocacy opportunities, and key initiatives.
- Keep all stakeholders informed about volunteer-driven projects, updates, and organizational developments to ensure the community remains connected.

Volunteer Coordination:
- Collaborate with People and Culture teams in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new volunteers for hub events and initiatives.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to volunteers, ensuring they have the resources and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in volunteer coordination, recruitment, or community engagement.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively connect with diverse groups.
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
- Passion for building and sustaining volunteer-driven communities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and engage stakeholders at all levels.
