Job Description
Job Overview:
The Email Marketing and Website Coordinator will be responsible for the development, execution, and optimization of email marketing campaigns, as well as maintaining and updating the organization’s website regularly. This individual will ensure that our digital presence is cohesive, engaging, and optimized to drive brand awareness and audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Email Marketing:
Develop and Manage Campaigns: Design, create, and manage email marketing campaigns, including monthly newsletters, event invitations, promotional campaigns, and fundraising efforts.
Content Creation: Write compelling email content, subject lines, and CTAs that align with the organization's tone and branding.
Email List Management: Maintain and grow email subscriber lists by using segmentation, cleaning, and targeting strategies.
Performance Analysis: Track and report on key email marketing metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) and optimize strategies for improved performance.
Automation: Create and manage email automation flows for lead nurturing, event reminders, and follow-ups.
A/B Testing: Execute A/B tests to optimize email performance and gather insights on best-performing content and strategies.
Website Coordination:
Website Updates: Maintain and update website content regularly, ensuring that all information is current, accurate, and in line with brand guidelines.
SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices across web content to increase organic traffic.
Website Analytics: Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics and provide reports on visitor behavior, page performance, and areas for improvement.
Troubleshooting: Collaborate with the web development team to troubleshoot and resolve website issues in a timely manner.
UX/UI Improvements: Enhance the user experience (UX) and interface (UI) of the website, ensuring an intuitive and visually appealing design.
Landing Page Creation: Build and manage landing pages for campaigns, events, and other special initiatives, ensuring optimal conversion.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience) or relevant work experience
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in email marketing and website management, preferably in a nonprofit or similar environment.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with email marketing platforms (We use ZOHO Campaigns but similar enough to Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc).
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email and website editing.
Familiarity with website CMS platforms (WordPress, Divi Builder, etc.).
A Plus: Experience with Google Analytics, SEO tools, and other digital marketing software.
Creative Skills: Strong copywriting, editing, and content creation abilities, with an eye for detail.
Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret campaign performance data and make data-driven decisions.
Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to collaborate across teams and work independently/remotely
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with nonprofits or community-based organizations.
Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite) are a plus.
Familiarity with CRM platforms like ZOHO, Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent.
Fluent in French is a plus
