Eligibility Requirements:

This role is funded, in part, by the Black Founders Network (BFN) Career Advancement Program supported by the Ministry of Citizenship & Multiculturalism and their Black Youth in Action Plan (BYAP) which works towards eliminating systemic, race-based disparities by increasing opportunities for Black youth across the province. Role and Responsibilities:

As a Data Scientist at ANUTIO, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of career guidance by developing advanced machine learning solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

· Leveraging your expertise in Python, ML model deployment on AWS or Heroku, Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning, Version Control (Git), and Rest API Development for ML Models to build innovative solutions.

· Developing, testing, and deploying machine learning models for user personalization in natural language processing using cloud infrastructure, with a focus on AWS.

· Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into machine learning tasks and projects.

· Implementing and testing algorithms from research papers, with a focus on advanced ML architectures like Transformers.

· Contributing to the continuous improvement and optimization of our machine learning algorithms and models.

· Ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of the ML models integrated into our platform.

· Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in machine learning, natural language processing, and data science to apply relevant advancements to our platform.

Required Core Skills:

· Proficiency in Python programming language.

· Experience with ML model deployment on cloud platforms like AWS or Heroku.

· Strong expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Deep Learning techniques.

· Familiarity with advanced ML architectures, especially Transformers.

· Proficient in Version Control, specifically Git.

· Skilled in Rest API Development for integrating ML Models.

Qualifications and Experience:

· Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or related fields.

· Demonstrated hands-on experience in developing and deploying machine learning models, either in industry or academic research.

· Demonstrated experience in training and developing ML models for user personalization in NLP.

· A self-reliant and proactive approach to problem-solving and project execution.

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with a strong sense of ownership.

· A passion for empowering individuals in their career journeys and making a positive impact.

· Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to cross-functional teams.
