Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and issue invoices to funders, partners, and vendors in a timely manner.
Track and monitor accounts receivable, ensuring payments are collected and recorded accurately.
Assist with reconciliations of accounts and monthly financial records.
Support the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Maintain up-to-date and organized records of invoices, receipts, and supporting financial documents.
Follow up with stakeholders regarding outstanding payments.
Assist with budget tracking and expense monitoring as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications
1-3 years experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or finance support.
Knowledge of accounting principles and financial record-keeping.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software an asset.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines.
Strong communication and follow-up skills.
Commitment to FBC’s mission and values, with an interest in supporting the Black Canadian community.
